Pearl Octopuss.y is an Oslo-based jewelery brand with an immersive visual universe centered around the bold and eccentric. Established by designer Cathrine Børter, the brand was founded in 2018, with the desire to merge and master the balance between minimalism and maximalism. However, it wasn't until January 2020 that the brand was officially launched. Cathrine Børter had worked as a women's designer in Oslo for almost a decade, until she started making her own jewellery. The jewelery brand is made for both him and her. Dedicated to its visual universe with its signature shapes and materials. A core value of the brand is an intuitive design approach; centering on atmosphere and mood rather than limitations such as season, gender or trends. The jewelery is handmade with an obsessive care for detail, craftsmanship and nostalgia of owning something unique. Due to the fact that each piece of jewelry is handmade, and the choice of materials, such as organic freshwater pearls, each item will be slightly different.
