Right of withdrawal, return and complaint

The buyer has a right of cancellation of 14 days which runs from the day after the item(s) has been received in accordance with the current law on the right of cancellation. We accept returns of goods that are in their original condition, as well as in their original packaging, within the cancellation period of 14 days. For orders made as local collection in one of our stores, the buyer has a collection deadline of 7 days from receipt of the collection notification. After the collection period has expired, the item(s) will be returned to our warehouse and refunded to the buyer, unless otherwise agreed. After the order has been collected, a 14-day right of cancellation applies.

Please note that any returned item must be in the same condition as when the buyer received it. Items returned cannot be used, washed or deviate from its original condition. All goods will be individually evaluated upon receipt.Orders that are returned without the right to cancel or in an unsuitable condition will not be considered valid and will be sent back at the buyer's expense.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Tailoring
  • Items adjusted by tailor
  • Sealed goods where the seal has been broken
  • Underwear/swimwear
  • Earrings

For packages that are not picked up by the buyer at the agreed delivery location, we reserve the right to debit the costs this entails. For packages that are not collected by the buyer within the collection deadline and are returned to us, the buyer will be charged a fee of NOK. NOK 350.

All attempts at fraud will be tracked and reported to the police.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURN IN NORWAY

RETURN AN ITEM

If you wish to return an item purchased in Norway, pick up the RETURN LABEL and fill in the necessary information. Reference number is your order number without the “#”. Print the return label, attach it to the outside of the package and deliver the package to the nearest post office. If you do not have occasion to print the return label, you can take a picture of the QR code and print it on the post by scanning the QR code. Remember to attach the cancellation form/order confirmation.

You can also return in all our stores. Remember to take the cancellation form/order confirmation with you.

The return label is NOT prepaid and NOK will be deducted. NOK 99 from your refund amount. Also note that the shipping cost that the buyer is charged for when an order is placed is an additional cost that will not be refunded in the event of a return. For orders sent using more than one return label, NOK will be deducted. NOK 99 from the refund amount per return shipment.

Please note that goods sent in return without the use of a return label from us and/or using other shipping companies will be at the sender's own risk and expense as we do not have tracking available on the package. In this respect, goods that are damaged or lost during transport will not be refunded to the buyer. If the buyer returns goods outside our return guidelines, it is recommended to send the package with tracking.

CHANGE AN ITEM

The above guidelines also apply to the exchange of one or more goods. If you want to change an item to a new color or size, you must: 

  • place a new order for the item(s) you wish to exchange for
  • comment your original order number in your new order so that we know you are changing under "comment" in the shopping basket
  • take out the RETURN LABEL and fill in the necessary information

In the event of an exchange, there will be no deduction for the return cost when reimbursing the item(s) being returned.

CLAIM

If you discover a fault with or lack of one or more goods, you must contact us within a reasonable time of discovery for any complaints. Inquiries can be made to one of our retail outlets or by contacting us at kundeservice@meandmycousin.no. For complaints addressed by e-mail, we need a detailed description of the error or deficiency, as well as photo evidence.

We reserve the right to forward complaints to the manufacturer or subcontractor for further assessment of any errors and deficiencies. If the buyer on his own initiative takes measures to remedy the error or deficiency beyond what may have been agreed with the seller, these expenses will not be covered.

We follow the Consumer Committee's decisions in the event of a dispute.

Please note that if the buyer wishes to return an item with defects, errors and/or damage, postage will be covered by the seller and the amount refunded in full.

REFUND

It may take up to 14 days for return shipments to be received and processed. The buyer will be refunded to the same payment method as when ordering when the return has been processed and approved. It can take up to 5 working days before the money is visible on the buyer's account. This may vary depending on the card and bank.

Orders paid by invoice at Klarna will be updated when the return is registered.

If you have ordered an item from abroad, the 14-day cancellation right also applies.Retrieve RETURN LABEL and fill in the required information.

  • Shipping and return costs will be deducted upon refund, and the refund amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
  • Please note that any customs fees and local taxes will not be refunded.
